CATASAIL BOAT CHARTER is a small boat rental company born from the experience, over twenty years, of its owner, Carlo Bazzicalupo, who after 25 years of work in nautical charter, in various roles, created his small company, attentive to the customer and the result of a deep love for the sea and a boundless passion for sailing.
You can request boats of any type throughout the Mediterranean, we will try to accommodate you by making use of a network of colleagues who work in the sector, who before being colleagues are trusted friends and expert sailors.

1. The services offered are of the highest quality and the boats are super-accessorized and furnished with a different taste compared to the bare and minimalist charter boat and are maintained with care because they are owned by the person who will lead you.

THE LAGOON 380 CATAMARAN: MIRAGUA
è the flagship of the fleet of the Catasail Boat Charter.
It is a splendid sailing catamaran, a Lagoon 380, top of the range in its category (it is the most produced and sold offshore catamaran in the world), medium-sized, from the French shipyards Cat Lagoon, almost 12 meters long by 7 meters wide, with sinuous, captivating lines and very high performance (12 knots of speed only under sail, with 25 knots of wind and the "right pace"; 9 knots of speed cruising by motor only).

THE BOAT
Lagoon 380 is a boat designed for the thoroughbred sailor who wants unexplored places and pristine bays and the neophyte who wants to sunbathe and experience fun moments in the company of friends between Spritz time, aperitifs and night clubs as well as being the perfect boat for families who want to relax carefree while their children play, in safety, in the amusement park full of games called MIRAGUA. For them and for many others, a catamaran holiday will be an amplifier of emotions in front of a sunset or under a rich starry sky, a strong thrill sailing at high-performance speeds without giving up maximum comfort and an unexpected change of perspectives that will change them permanently.

SAFETY
Due to its size, construction materials and layout, MIRAGUA guarantees not only maximum safety and unsinkability, but also maximum maneuverability of its two engines, even with a small crew, and maximum stability despite its net tonnage of only 8 tons.
This catamaran is therefore the right compromise between seaworthiness, performance, robustness, habitability, stability and comfort for guests.
THE LIVEABILITY
of the boat is guaranteed by the 100 square meters of sundeck and comfortable cushions, by the trampoline net between the bow hulls, flypaper, on which everyone always wants to be, by the dinette in direct communication with the cockpit and at the same height that makes it almost a single space of large dimensions and maximum brightness for the 180° of windows in the rounded lounge that give a 360° view into the cockpit. The latter has a biminy top (awning) that has the possibility to close on all 4 sides with a splash guard and 3 awnings for sun/rain/humidity. In the large spaces in the 4 cabins, all equipped with shoe rack, chest of drawers and coat hangers you will find 4 extra-large double beds with extra comfortable latex mattress, quilts, plaids, sheets and towels. Reading lights in the corners of the bed, large portholes and hatches guarantee great brightness and airiness to the cabins.
Two hammocks for swinging and a Kaiak BIC on the tender's davits are among the favorite pastimes, but they are not the only ones, dinghy and mattresses, balls and frisbees, card games and Monopoly, Connect 4 and dominoes, Shanghai and Rubik's Cube, fishing rod holder and snorkelling equipment and an internal and external stereo system … just to name a few.
THE LAYOUT
of MIRAGUA, with 4 very comfortable double cabins for guests + 2 independent single cabins for the crew + 2 extra berths in the dinette (internal lounge) with a convertible solid wood table + 2 large and comfortable bathrooms with shower and an external shower, is suitable for a charter for all needs and for all "pockets". The recommended number of people is 8 (max 11).
